Technology Philosophy — NOYA Architecture

From the earliest engineering phase, NOYA was designed around medically compliant components, reliability, and layered architecture. Every layer can operate independently.

Architecture Philosophy

NOYA is built in independent layers: Core Audio, Control Processing, and optional Connectivity. Each layer is medically considered and capable of operating standalone.

BLE Optional by Design

Wireless connectivity is an extension layer, not a core dependency. The acoustic system operates fully independently. Users who prefer no connectivity experience zero impact.

  • Accessibility-restricted users can operate fully without apps
  • Elderly users receive a completely straightforward device

Fail-Safe Separation

The internal architecture electrically isolates the BLE subsystem from the main amplification circuitry. If BLE stops functioning, hearing operation continues normally. No shared failure point.

RF Stability

The wireless system was engineered for maximum stability: stable reception, high resistance to urban RF interference, and ultra-low idle power consumption. Range target set for real-world reliability.

Power Efficiency

Every microamp matters. Components were selected for quiescent current, wake time, and conversion efficiency. The result is a system that is efficient, stable, and reliable long-term.
